Change of Ownership (Membership)
When transferring ownership of your shop(s), ensure to update the information in the Seller Center and submit a Letter of Intent, along with the Government-issued IDs of both the old and new owner, including three signature specimens for each. Please do not forget to provide the specific Seller ID (not the shop name) involved.
Key points to keep in mind:
- If the new owner is a Coop member, the OMSMPC Management will internally transfer the shop/s to the new owner.
- If the new owner is not a Coop member, they must apply for OMSMPC membership, beginning with a Pre-Membership Education Seminar.
- If you do not have a Lazada store but maintain a physical store, you can retain your Coop membership as an Associate member. This allows you to access benefits such as loan services, network access, dividends, and participation in projects, but you will not have voting rights.
- If you have shops on other platforms like Shopee, TikTok, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, or any other online platforms, you can still maintain your membership in the COOP. However, you must provide proof of your online shop/s on other platforms.
